Our Background

Ann R. Muskal has a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Pacific and holds lifetime teaching and reading specialist credentials, as well as significant experience and training in working with learning disabled students. She directs the clinic and works as a master clinician. She is a member of the International Reading Association, the California Reading Association, the Orton Dyslexia Society, the Rebus Institute, and C.H.A.D.D.

Fred Muskal has a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and has won various academic honors. He was a NIMH Social Science Research Training Fellow at the Center for Urban Studies at the University of Chicago and has considerable experience analyzing and working with learning disabled students. He writes or directs the clinical reports and works as a clinician. He is also a Professor in the School of Education at the University of the Pacific.
